Sheer Horizontal Shades are easy to install, in this short video you will learn to install them. A screwdriver is all that’s needed to install your blinds; or for an easier installation you can use a cordless screwdriver or a drill with a ¼” Hex head bit. Before starting, carefully unpack your blinds and mounting hardware. To familiarize yourself with the contents of your box, check the printed instructions included with your product. Begin your installation by positioning your shade on the surface where you want it to be mounted. Mark the top of the headrail 2 to 3 inches from the left and right edges of your shade with a pencil. Line up the front of each bracket so they are even. Mark where your screws will go by lightly tapping starter holes into the mounting surface through the slots in the bracket and then fastening the supplied screws for each one. To install the headrail, slide it onto your brackets and push toward the back of the windows until it snaps into place. To complete your installation, install the cord tensioner on the trim or the wall near the bottom of your window frame where it will not interfere with the operation of your shade. Finish by lowering and testing your new shade. Pull the cord to lower your shade, and continue pulling the cord to lift your shade to the fully raised position.
