Are your faux wood blinds dusty or dirty? Faux wood blinds are made of PVC, so they’re some of the easiest window coverings to clean. We’ll show you a few simple techniques. Let’s get started.
Here’s what you need:
• Easy Clean Duster
• Microfiber cloth
• warm water
• mild dish soap
• Dusting Spray
If your blinds are dusty, swipe your slats clean with an easy clean duster from Blinds.com. They clean both sides of the slats in one pass, so you’ll be done with the whole room in just a few minutes.
To prevent future dust buildup, spray a microfiber cloth or easy clean duster with dusting spray and wipe down slats.
If your blinds are sticky or covered with caked on dirt, dip your easy clean duster or microfiber cloth in warm soapy water and scrub slats. When you’re done you can throw the microfiber covers of your duster in the wash.
If you need to disinfect your blinds, make a 1 to 1 solution of vinegar and water and wipe them down with your Easy Clean Duster or a microfiber cloth.
Never submerge faux wood blinds in water, as it may damage internal mechanisms or cause rusting.
